JBFOne Migration: Your Constant Contact Communication Guide
Three emails. Two are optional. Here’s what each one does, when to send it, and how to make it yours.
What’s covered in this article:
- Email 1: Password Reset notification (optional)
- Email 2: JBFOne automatic registration confirmation (not editable)
- Email 3: Owner confirmation email (optional, replaces FranConnect confirmation)
Email 1: “You’re in the Right Place: Password Reset”
Optional · Sent by you · Available now in Constant Contact
Why this matters:
After May 19, consignors who already have a JBF Account will be prompted to reset their password the first time they log in. The login screen will look different from what they’re used to. This email gets ahead of that — setting the expectation before they experience the change.
When to send:
- Send Tuesday, May 19 or as close to migration as possible
- Can be sent as a standalone email or copied into an already-scheduled communication
Where to find it:
Log into Constant Contact → Campaigns → look for the template titled “You’re in the Right Place Password Reset”
Steps:
- Open the template in Constant Contact.
- Review the content — no edits are required (just your personalized signature line), but you may personalize as needed.
- Schedule or send to your consignor list. ✓

Pro Tip: This email can also be copied and pasted into a communication you already have scheduled for that week. You don’t have to send a separate email if your timing doesn’t allow for it.
You can also copy and paste a portion of the email into an existing communication if you don't want to overwhelm your customers. We recommend including the following:
We’re excited to roll out an updated JBF seller platform designed to make managing your account simpler, smoother, and more convenient than ever. Don’t worry, it’s still us, just with a fresh new look and improved experience.
Important: Your Password Will Need to Be Reset
The first time you log in to your account on the new platform, you’ll be prompted to create a new password before accessing your account. This quick reset helps keep your information secure as we transition to the improved system.
Once logged in, this will continue to be the place where you access your tagging account, and soon, even more helpful seller tools and resources will be available all in one convenient spot.
Email 2: JBFOne Registration Confirmation
Automatic · Sent by JBFOne · Not editable
Why this matters:
JBFOne automatically sends a basic registration confirmation email every time a consignor registers to sell. This replaces the automated confirmation that was previously sent from FranConnect. No action is required on your part, it fires on its own.
Note: This email is a standardized transactional confirmation. The content cannot be edited. If you want to provide consignors with additional next steps, seller guidance, or location-specific details after registration, use Email 3.
Email 3: “Confirmation from Owners”
Optional · Sent by you · Fully editable · Available now in Constant Contact
Why this matters:
Many owners have a detailed confirmation email set up in FranConnect that provides consignors with next steps, seller resources, and location-specific guidance after they register. This template replaces that. It is fully editable and gives you control over what your consignors receive after the automated JBFOne confirmation goes out.
Where to find it:
Log into Constant Contact → Campaigns → look for the template titled “Confirmation from Owners”
What to update:
- Your seller resources link — add the URL for your current seller resources page. This is your existing website link and should remain in place until you complete your JBFOne cohort and take your events live.
- Your communication links — add links to any seller guides, drop-off instructions, or other location-specific communications you currently use.
- Any location-specific details — dates, drop-off information, or anything else your consignors need after registering.
Steps:
- Open the template in Constant Contact.
- Add your seller resources link and any location-specific communication links where indicated.
- Customize any additional content to match your current seller guidance.
- Set up as an automated follow-up to registration or schedule as a standalone send. ✓

Pro Tip: Until you complete your JBFOne cohort and move your events over, keep linking consignors back to your current website. Your Zoho site stays active through your cohort — your seller resources and guides are still there and still valid.
As you build out this email, take a moment to think through your consignor journey in JBFOne. The information you once provided after registration may look different now. Once you're live, consider making your JBFAccount (and the resources inside it) your consistent point of reference for sellers.
Your communication plan is in place.
