Build Your Team

Team Scheduling is a separate module for building and managing team shifts. You’ll set up roles, create schedules, and learn where to manage approvals and staffing.

Roles

Why this matters: Roles define the types of shifts available at your sale — cashier, sorter, team lead, etc. Each role can have its own color, description, and approval type.


Where to find it: Team Schedules (left nav) → Roles tab → + Add Role


Steps:

  • Navigate to Team Schedules in the left nav. Click the Roles tab, then click + Add Role.
  • Enter a role name (e.g. Cashier, Sort Shift, Team Lead). Add a description, choose a color, and set the Approval Type (Auto-Approved or Manual Approval).
  • Toggle Disclaimer on if applicable and save. ✓



Schedules & Shifts

Why this matters: Schedules tie your roles to an event and time window. This is the master schedule your team members will sign up from.


Where to find it: Team Schedules (left nav) → Schedules tab → + Add Schedule → Pink calendar ocon → + Add Shift


Steps:

  • Click the Schedules tab, then click + Add Schedule. Enter a schedule name and select your event from the dropdown.
  • Set a start and end date. Set status to Draft.
  • Save and confirm the schedule appears in the Schedules list. ✓


To add shifts:

  • Click the Pink Calendar Icon to open up the team schedule. Click + Add Shift to fill in the shift details. To associate your shift with a time block from the main schedule, select the time block from Event Schedule dropdown menu.
  • Set a start and end time. Set status to Draft.
  • Save and confirm the schedule appears in the Shift list. ✓


Note: For easier an scheduling experience, select your preferred view from the dropdown view menu in the upper left corner of the screen.



Approvals

Why this matters: The Approvals tab is where you manage team member shift requests when Manual Approval is enabled. Know where to find and act on pending approvals before your sale opens.


Where to find it: Team Schedules (left nav) → Approvals tab → Schedule filter dropdown


Steps:

  • Click the Approvals tab. Use the Schedule dropdown to filter by a specific schedule.
  • Review the approvals list and observe the available filter and view options. Records appear once team members have signed up for shifts.
  • You’re familiar with the Approvals view. ✓



Dashboard & Settings

Why this matters: The Dashboard gives you a live view of staffing status. Settings contains configuration options for the Team Scheduling module.


Where to find it: Team Schedules (left nav) → Dashboard tab → then Settings tab


Steps:

  • Click the Dashboard tab and review its current state. Active schedules will populate staffing summaries here once live.
  • Click the Settings tab and review the configuration options available. ✓



Your shifts are built and your team is ready to sign up.

Roles, Schedules, Approvals, and Dashboard are all set. Head to Go Live for the final checklist review and to take your event active.
